We had such a wonderful experience working with these guys! My family has never been super into doing guided/incredibly structured tours, so what Life Hike offered was perfect. They built the itinerary, handled all the bookings, then let us do our thing. My brother and I were traveling with our father, who had never done a big trek of this kind, and both Matej and Katarina were incredibly responsive and flexible with us, and helped us build a route that was perfect for the adventure we were looking for. If we ever find ourselves in Slovenia again, we'll definitely book another tour with Life Hike! 10/10, couldn't recommend their services any more. Thanks for everything guys!

This was our first time doing a self-guided trail running tour. We have always had a guide in the past, so I was a bit nervous. However, we loved it and would definitely choose this type again. Slovenia was amazing! The LIFE Run team curated a fantastic group of runs and places to stay. Having multiple running paths to choose from each day was appreciated. We really enjoyed the variety of lodgings we had also. It was also reassuring to have the team a phone/text away for any questions. I would definitely recommend them!

As a group of trail and mountain runners from Australia this was an exceptional mountain experience. From the expert guides we had on day 1, the magnificent terrain and views of the Julian Alps, the hospitality and comfort of the overnight hut stays, and the communication and support we were provided over the 5 days, made this an adventure we will never forget!

Triglav Trail 44 km is a truly unique race in Slovenia. Surrounded by alpine scenery, mountain huts, exposed serpentins and a beautiful loop around the highest peak. Three participations so far — and it has never disappointed.

We used LIFE to plan our trip around the highlights of the Julian Trail thru Slovenia and it was one of the best trips! Katarina, our local contact, was exceptional. She made our trip flawless from start to finish, giving us a very detailed itinerary that was easy to follow and providing us with local recommendations for restaurants and high points not to miss. We truly enjoyed Slovenia, such a beautiful country- I know we will be back. Thank you Katarina and Life for such a epic trip:)

I had an amazing experience exploring the Julian Alps with such a great group and an excellent guide, Tim R. The route and hiking were absolutely beautiful, and doing my first via ferrata was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Tim was very knowledgeable, responsible, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He was also great at reading each of us and adapting the pace of the hike to the group, making sure everyone felt comfortable and enjoyed the experience. He knew all the best spots, views and perspectives for taking great photos and videos, and shared stories from his own adventures in these mountains. He even taught us a few words in Slovenian along the way! His knowledge, experience, and personality really made the trip special.

Amazing route that was designed for me and a group of 4 others to run the Julian Alps. They did an amazing job making sure our adventure was adventurous and scenic. Would highly recommend this tour agency for any adventure and will definitely be back again.

I had a wonderfoul 5 day group trekk in Slovenia across the Triglav National Park & Triglav Summit 😊. Had great moments, made great friends during the trip.. Many thanks to our guide Tim, for his professionalism and companionship during the trip, which made the whole trip(trekk and climb) safer and seem easy for us. ♥️ Strongly recommending him to anyone who is looking for high mountain adventures/trips!

Life-changing, I have say that my group hike through the Slovenian Alps up to the Summit of Mt Triglav 🏔️ was life-changing. Tim R was such an amazing guide, he always made sure we were all walking at the same pace and looked after us really well. He motivated me to climb Mt Triglav and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was super funny and had a great personality too- would love to hike with him again! He showed me all the great parts of Triglav National Park whilst telling me history about it too which was so interesting 🙂 Tim is a great guide, I couldn’t recommend him enough. Will definitely be back for sure!

A wonderful experience that opened my eyes to the beauty of Slovenia 🇸🇮 Five days of unforgettable experiences—climbing Mt. Triglav, enjoying delicious local food, hiking through different trails in Triglav National Park, learning about Slovenia’s history, and simply living in the moment. Lastly, I’d like to thank our guide, Tim. He was kind, friendly, funny, and professional. He made our journey truly spectacular, especially with his amazing accordion performances. When I sprained my ankle, he also handled the situation calmly and professionally, which I really appreciated. + If you ever visit the mountain huts, don’t miss the poppy seed cake. You won’t regret it.
